USE OF COMPUTER AND MOBILE DEVICES. LIST OF APPLICATIONS WE SHOULD USE TO INCREASE OUR PRODUCTIVITY
We use our computers, laptops, Smartphones on daily basis. These are someway very useful for us or sometimes very distracting also. Those who use it wisely save their time, energy and money.
A computer is a machine that can be programmed to carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical operations automatically. These programs enable computers to perform a very wide range of tasks. A laptop is a personal computer that can be easily moved and used in a variety of locations. Most laptops are designed to have all of the functionality of a desktop computer, which means they can generally run the same software and open the same types of files.
A mobile device is a general term for any type of handheld computer. These devices are designed to be extremely portable, and they can often fit in your hand.
Uses of Computer and Mobile Devices :
Computer and mobile devices can be used in many fields, some are given below:
1. Business
Business uses the computer to store and maintain accounts, personnel records, manage projects, track inventory, create presentations and reports. They can be used to promote the business and enable direct interaction with their customers. Computer helps businesses to promote their products or services. Smartphones can also be used to transfer money.
2. Education
Computers can be used to give learners audio-visual information, interactive exercises, and remote learning, including tutoring over the internet. It can be used to maintain and monitor student performance, including through the use of online examinations, as well as to create projects and assignments. Computer helps to make better presentations for the students which helps them to engage with their teachers.
3. Pharma and Healthcare Services
Healthcare continues to be revolutionized by computers. As well as digitized medical information making it easier to store and access patient data, complex information can also be analyzed by software to aid discovery of diagnoses, as well as search for risks of diseases. Computers control lab equipment, heart rate monitors, and blood pressure monitors.
4. Retail and Trade
Computers can be used to buy and sell products online — this enables sellers to reach a wider market with low overheads, and buyers to compare prices, read reviews, and choose delivery preferences.

Computers are now used in virtually every branch of the arts, as well as in the wider entertainment industry. Computers can be used to create drawings, graphic designs, and paintings. They can be used to edit, copy, send, and print photographs. They can be used by writers to create and edit. They can be used to make, record, edit, play and listen to music.
7. Banking and Finance
You can use computers to check your account balance, transfer money, or pay off credit cards via net banking. You can also use computer technology to access information on stock markets, trade stocks, and manage investments.
8. Military
Computers are used extensively by the military. They are used for training purposes. They are used for analyzing intelligence data. They are used to control smart technology, such as guided missiles and drones, as well as for tracking incoming missiles and destroying them.
9. Security and Surveillance
Computers combined with biometric passports make it harder for people to fraudulently enter a country or gain access to a passenger aeroplane. Face-recognition technology makes it easier to identify terrorists or criminals in public places.

Robotics is an expanding area of technology that combines computers with science and engineering to produce machines that can either replace humans or do specific jobs that humans are unable to do. One of the first use of robotics was in manufacturing to build cars.

Magzter is a digital newsstand with thousands of magazines and newspapers in its catalogue. I used it to read popular magazines according to my interest.
- GOOGLE CHROME:
Google Chrome is a web browser. Chrome brings you personalised news articles, quick links to your favourite sites, downloads, etc. It is very useful for searching for anything on the internet.
- YOUTUBE:
Youtube is a video sharing and Watching platform. I used it to watch Entertainment Videos and Educational content.
- SPOTIFY:
Spotify is free music listening and Streaming app. I used it to play songs and listen to podcasts of famous experts in the field of my interest.
- GMAIL:
G-mail is an Email service app, offered by Google. Used it to send and receive emails.
- MENTORIST APP:
Useful to learn new Skills from the summaries of the books. It will directly implement strategies, ideas, habits, and routines from famous books. I read it in my free time.
- POCKET APP:
Pocket App capture the content that comes at you all day long and curate your own space filled with only the topics you care about. Very useful app, I use it according to my interest.
- DEEP STASH APP:
Deep stash is all about educational and meaningful ideas extracted from books, articles, and videos. The ideas are curated by a community of millions of passionate, smart people like you.DeepStash app captures Key Ideas from Articles & Books. It is a very useful app for me. It helps me to Discover educational insights and ideas.
- GOOGLE MAPS:
Google Maps is a web mapping platform and consumer application offered by Google. It offers satellite imagery, aerial photography, street maps, 360° interactive panoramic views of streets, real-time traffic conditions, and route planning for travelling by .foot, car, air and public transportation.
- KEEP NOTES:
Google Keep is a note-taking service included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google.I use it to take notes of something useful.
- GOOGLE SHEETS:
Google Sheets is a spreadsheet program included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google.
- GOOGLE DOCS:
Google Docs is an online word processor included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google. I use it to process my data.
- WHATSAPP:
WhatsApp Messenger, is an American freeware, cross-platform centralized messaging and voice-over-IP service. It allows users to send text messages and voice messages, makes voice and video calls, and share images, documents, etc. It helps me to get connected with my friends and families.
- ADOBE SCAN:
The Adobe Scan scanner app turns your device into a powerful portable scanner that recognizes text automatically (OCR) and allows you to save to multiple files formats including PDF and JPEG. I use it to scan my documents, photos, signatures, etc.
- LINKEDIN:
LinkedIn is an American business and employment-oriented online service that operates via websites and mobile apps. the platform is mainly used for professional networking and allows job seekers to post their CVs and employers to post jobs.
- FACEBOOK:
It is a social media platform. We can share updates and photos, engage with friends and Pages, and stay connected to communities important for me.
- INSTAGRAM:
It is a social media platform. We can share photos, short videos in the form of reels, and long videos in the form of IGTV. It is a very wonderful app for entertainment and educational purposes.
- TWITTER:
It is a social media platform. We can share our short or long thoughts on this app via tweets with the world by using some relevant tags. I used this app to stay updated on what’s trending now.
- FLIPKART:
It is an Online Shopping App. You can shop from the comfort of your home and get products delivered to your doorstep. I use it to buy electronic devices, books, etc.
